April: Examination, Spinal Adjusting, and Autonomic Balance.

This seminar will establish a strong(er) foundation for those wishing to comfortably care for infants, children, and teenagers. Attendees will gain expertise in neurological tests, orthopedic exams, primitive reflexes, and other objective examination skills, as well as, learning a basic set of spinal adjusting skills and how to better know what growing bodies need at that moment. While this seminar brings in a multitude of viewpoints, we will most strongly focus on those true to SOT(r) Methods and teachings. There are few techniques which rival the analysis of an SOT(r) provider, and this is your opportunity for a crash course!

Hour 1: introduction, Development
Hour 2: Anatomy Review, Cranial Landmarks
Hour 3-4: Physical, Orthopedic, and Neurological Examination
Hour 5-7: Spinal/Pelvic Adjusting Techniques

The second seminar of this series will cover Common Pediatric signs, symptoms, and conditons. Beginning with a peds-focused CMRT protocol, we will dive deep into the fascial and neurological components that are often underlying the chief concerns that kids present with. This course will cover anatomy and physiology as well as corrective procedures for supportive care of issues like colic, reflux, bedwetting, learning disabilities, and even eye-tracking! This course is a must for those who focus in treating the infant population as well as children and teens!
Hour 1: Introduction and History of CMRT
Hour 2: Visceral and Fascial Anatomy Review
Hour 3-4: Common Pediatric Ailments – discussion and supportive treatments
Hour 5-6: 8 Step Digestion Protocol
Hour 7-8: Tethered Oral Tissues and associated Signs, Symptoms, and Reflexes
June: Intro to Pediatric Craniopathy – Evaluation, Visual Analysis and Correction of Typical Cranial Dysfunctions
Of course, we cannot begin to discuss SOT(r) Methods without covering Craniopathy! At this seminar, attendees will gain knowledge of cranial nerves, ossification zones, sutural mobility, dural membrane connections, objective measures for assessing cranial distortions, and how to fix it! Join us for a simplified cranial protocol for general craniopathy (non-specific), understanding of the most common cranial distortions, and hands-on instruction in techniques that can be life-changing for your practice members.

INSTRUCTOR BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Corey Neill was born in Moundville, Alabama where he attended Hale County High School before graduating from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Environmental Sciences. Upon graduating, he moved to Davenport, Iowa to study Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic. During his time at Palmer, Dr. Neill organized several seminars to further improve his technical skills and knowledge about the human body. Dr. Neill also served as a Student Council Representative and the President of the Sacral Occipital Technic Club. After completing the requirements for his degree of Doctor of Chiropractic, he worked as an extern under Dr. John Farmer at Green Springs Chiropractic Center. He is a member of SORSI™ and ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association). Dr. Neill is also a certified SOT Methods provider and a Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist.

Dr. Neill is passionate about helping people overcome all varieties of ailments with an emphasis on pediatric, pregnancy and prenatal care. Away from the office he enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and is the youth pastor at Soma Church in Holt.

EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY

Effective Oct. 5, 2024

Refunds:

  • Cancellations up to 61 days prior to the event will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations 60 days prior to the event will be refunded at 50% the original cost.
  • 30 days prior to event there will be no refunds.
  • In cases of family emergencies, the Board of Directors will review each case individually to determine if a refund will be given.
  • There are absolutely no refunds for CE fees.

If SORSI cancels an event, participants would be eligible for a refund or credit to the next like event within one year.
