SOT® METHODS CERTIFICATION EXAMINATIONS

All Exams are given at both our annual Mid Year Symposium and Homecoming Events.

*Applications must be received at least 60 days in advance of the testing event

SOT® METHODS CERTIFICATION EXAMINATIONS

  • Certification establishes and promotes professional accountability and visibility.
  • Certification increases confidence and skill levels
  • Certification increases referrals by identifying those professionals who have met specific standards of knowledge and experience in the practice of Sacro Occipital Technic™ (SOT® Methods)
  • Certification opens doors to speaking engagements, including universities

SOT® STUDENT: Student Proficiency in the Philosophy, Art & Science of Sacro Occipital Technic™ (SORSI & SOTO-I)

Requirements:

  • 32 SOT® Training Hours  (Determined from Transcripts)
  • 20 hours must be SORSI sponsored hours 
  • Attend 1 Mid Year or 1 Homecoming Event in the prior year
  • Current SORSI Member in good standing with dues paid current.

Examination Fee: $100.00

Doctor: Certified Proficiency in the Philosophy, Art & Science of Sacro Occipital Technic™ (SORSI & SOTO-I)

Requirements:

  • 64 SORSI Sponsored Hours
  • Active SOT® Methods Practice for 1 or more years
  • Current SORSI Member in good standing with dues paid current.

Materials Covered:

  • 100 Written Questions Plus Practical Examination
  • Category Analysis and Block Placement, Extremity Adjusting and Basic Cranial

Required Text to Study for this Exam are the

Examination Fee: $200.00

Doctor: Advanced Proficiency (AP) in the Philosophy, Art & Science of Sacro Occipital Technic™ (SORSI & SOTO-I)

Requirements:

  • 150 SORSI Sponsored Hours
  • Certified Proficient SORSI Certification
  • Active SOT® Methods Practice for 3 or more years
  • Current SORSI Member in good standing with dues paid current.

Material Covered:

  • 100 Written Questions Plus Practical Examination
  • CMRT Analysis and Treatment, Intro to Cranial Analysis and Treatment

Examination Fee: $300.00

Doctor: Certified Craniopath (CC) from the International Craniopathic Society (ICS), SORSI & SOTO-I

Requirements:

  • 250 SORSI Sponsored Hours
  • Advanced SORSI Certification
  • Active SOT® Methods Practice for 5 or more years
  • Current SORSI Member in good standing with dues paid current.

Material Covered:

  • 100 Written Questions Plus Practical Examination
  • All Aspects of Cranial in Detail

The required text to study for this exam is the

 

Examination Fee: $500.00

Doctor: Diplomat International Craniopathic Society (DICS)

Requirements:

  • Hold Certified Craniopath Status for 3 years
  • Present minimum of two research papers approved by the SORSI Board of Research, Board of Examiners and Board of Directors and/or equivalent divisions of each SOTO-I organization
  • Publish one research paper in a SORSI and/or SOTO-I organization approved peer-reviewed journal
  • Current SORSI Member in good standing with dues paid current.

Doctor: Fellow of International Craniopathic Society (FICS)

  • Hold a license as a Doctor of Chiropractic.
  • Be a member of SORSI in good standing, with dues paid current.
  • Certified Diplomate of International Craniopathic Society (DICS) with three (3) years DICS experience.
  • Present a minimum of five (5) research papers approved by SORSI Research Committee, Board of Examiners and Board of Directors.
  • Publish one research paper in a SORSI approved peer-reviewed journal
